Praying For The Mission Trippers

Hello all reading this. Some of the Mission trippers have already left Singapore for Thailand. others will be leaving for China soon. Please pray for all of them that God will provide for their every need and will teach them and help them grow in wisdom and grow spiritually as they go out to be a blessing, bridge and catalyst. Pray that barriers will be broken down, and that there will be revivals in the land that they go out to. Remeber, there will be no need for mission trips if every single Christian did their part to share Christ with someone everyday. Think about it. Why is it so easy to tell a sick joke and yet so hard to share Christ? Do not be ashamed of your religion. Go out boldly, believing that God will help you! If Gideon could defeat a whole army with a few men, and David slay Goliath with a pebble, surely God can help you do immensely wonderful things! Shalom

Youth Jesus Encounter

Hello everyone! I do hope someone reads this. This blog is one of the most unvisited blogs in Singapore! OK. Now we have a Youth Jesus Encounter coming up soon! Go sign up for it as soon as possible! I, for one have gone for the adults Jesus Encounter, and it was good. Sign up for it, and experience God like never before! Then you won't just be a 2nd generation Christian who believes yet doesn't experience. Also, I hope that we can pray for Pastor David that God's anointing will be on him even as he delievers his sermons on the meaning of life. He has taken time to prepare those sermons, so pray that God will touch the hearts of those listening to the sermons. Final notes: Please try to invite more friends to church. We can fill up the Sanctuary if we want to! And please try to be punctual too. We are going to the house of God, not just another building. Surely we do not need cow bells to get us moving? AVA recruitment drive, Camp

Hello all. I'm quite pleased that quite a number of you have found the blog via the link from my own blog. Anyway. Jowell has informed me about the AVA recruitment drive. I'm sure that many youths would be interested in serving the Lord in this area of ministry. It's fun! Just ask Jowell for help. Or any of the AVA team members when you see them in church on Saturday. Please pray for the FBI and The One Camp committees respectively. They've been working round the clock (metaphorically and analogically), filing, organising and making sure that all our camp files would be properly done up. They've put in a lot of effort so pray that God would give them wisdom to finish what they've started. Also, pray that they'll have enough time for their own commitments. David happens to have an attachment, and he cannot miss more than 3 times of his lecture if he wants to make the grade. This would clash with The One Camp. Pray for him that God will make it possible for him to make it for both events. Also, pray for journey's mercies. The youths in the FBI camp would be setting off on the 2nd December. Pray that the Lord will keep them and protect them on their way to the camp site, during the camp and as they come back. Pray for those in The One Camp that God will protect all passengers in the ferry, that no one will be injured during the course of the camp, and that He'll send us back safely. Remember the organisers of X-mas @ the Stadium in prayer too. Shalom.

National Day dance

Performing Arts, Ushering: Recruitment Drive

Hello all, as you all know by now, for those who went for the Thailand Missions trip, dancers in the performing arts are learning a new dance - Every Move I Make. It's for the recruitment of dancers, guys wanted badly. The recruitment drive is on the 25th of july, and for ushering, recruitment would be tomorrow and next Sunday. All who want to sign up can do so at the hospitality counter. meanwhile, only Shem has signed up to join the dance group. David and I, might not join as we are allowed to join only one - dance or band. Pray that God will bring more guys to the dance team and lead us to making the decision to join the performing arts group. Shalom

Bible KungFu Movie Tickets

Hello all, as you all know, we have all worked hard to earn the Bible KungFu free movie tickets. But we have decided to go out as a cell group together. David was unable to make it this week, so I would suggest we go out next week. I'm quite free for the next 2 weeks, and my schedule isn't so heavy, so we can go and watch one of these movies: Mean Girls, Spiderman 2 or Supersize Me. I hope you all are doing your quite time daily, and are growing in God's strength. Shalom.

Blokes Party

Hello everyone, Joseph here. As you all know, the Blokes party is this Saturday, July 3rd, 6.00 to 9.30. Now David is doing his hip-hop dance, so please pray for him. Also, there will be befrienders and counsellors around helping out, to recruit more fishers of men for Christ. Pray that many people will come to the event and that many more will come to know Christ through his ambassadors - US. Also, Nathaniel, Japheth and Mark will be attending the SYF and would not be coming for the Blokes event. Pray that during their march that God will keep them safe and sound as there have been instances of people slicing their hands with their bayonets while performing the drills. Last of all, please invite many friends along, Christians and non-Christians alike. See you there! Oh yes, the tagboard is not working well so by God it will be alright! Amen! =D
